    Speed = (distance covered) / (time to cover the distance)

    = (8 m) / (4 s)

    = (8 / 4) m/s

    = 2 m/s.

    That 's the toy car's speed. We can't tell its velocity,

    since we have no information about its direction.

    Velocity is calculated by distance and time

    v = d/t

    v = 8m/4s

    v = 2 m/s

    It's velocity is 2 meters per second
