    current is 1.357 A

    Explanation:

    given data

    internal voltage = 12

    resistance = 5 ohms

    voltage = 9.5 volts

    to find out

    current

    solution

    we apply internal resistance formula for find out current that is

    resistance = internal voltage - voltage / current ... 1

    put here all value in equation 1 to find current

    so

    5 = 12 - 9.5 / current

    solve it and we get current

    current = 1.357 A

    so current is 1.357 A
