In the FITT principle the letter "t" represents the words, "Time" and "Type".

    Explanation:

The method that is employed for the examination of the exercises that we do is the FITT Principle. The effectiveness of the exercising program can be determined with this principle. This principle has 4 main elements that corresponds to the letters FITT. They are Frequency, Intensity, Time, Type respectively.

The time interval taken for doing the exercise refers to the frequency. The degree to which you work hard to do an exercise is measured by the term Intensity. The amount of time that is spent for doing an exercise refers to the time component of FITT principle. Type indicates the type of exercise that we do. For instance running, jogging, etc.
