Is the air around us organic

    No, Air is about 78% Nitrogen and 21% Oxygen. The other 1% are random molecules that probably contain carbon. For something to be organic it must contain carbon. It is inorganic if it does not contain carbon.

    Organic air? The definition of organic (from google) is: of, relating to, or derived from living matter. Air isn't living matter. Air can come from plants that are made from organic substances ... Gases can pollute our air ... but from my knowledge, I don't believe there that there is 'organic air'
