    Given that,

    Cross sectional area A1 = 200cm²

    Cross-sectional area A2 = 5cm²

    F2 = 250N is force is applied at the smaller area

    F1=?

    Using Pascal principle

    Pressure at the small area = Pressure at the larger area

    Pressure is given as P = F/A

    F1/A1 = F2/A2

    F1/200 = 250/5

    F1/200 = 50

    F1 = 50*200

    F1 = 10,000N

    1kN = 1000N

    F1 = 10KN

    The correct answer is D
