How does the momentum of a 75 kilogram stationary football player compare with that of a 70 kilogram player moving at a velocity of 6 meters/second?

    The 70 kilogram player has momentum whereas the 75 kilogram stationary player has done.

    Momentum is = mass*velocity so a stationary player has no momentum (or a momentum of 0Ns)

    Momentum is the product of mass and speed.

    Stationary things have no speed, so they have no momentum.

    Anything that has mass and is moving has momentum.
