What is net displacement vector? I just started AP Physics 1.

    Hey! I just started AP Physics 1 as well.

    Lets break it down:

    Displacement is the change in the position of a vector.

    Net means total

    This means that Net displacement means the addition of displacements. Also said as the "vector sum of the individual displacements".

    You have more than 1 vector. When you add them all together as vectors, the net displacement vector is a vector drawn from the arrowhead of the last vector to the non-arrowhead of the first vector. The other responder gave a good description as well. Between us, you have a pretty good definition of what a net displacement vector is.
