Difference between elastic and Inelastic collisions

    In an inelastic collision the objects after colliding do not bounce of and the overall momentum is conserved but Kinetic energy is not.

    In an elastic collision the objects bounce of after collision and both Momentum and Kinetic energy are conserved.
