If the sun is a distance of 1.5 x 10^8 km from Earth, how long does it take sunlight to reach Earth if it moves at 3.0 x 10^8 m/s?

    X = 1.5*10⁸ km = 1.5*10¹¹ m

    v = 3*10⁸ m/s

    x = vt

    t = x/v = 1.5*10¹¹ m / 3*10 ⁸ m/s = 500 s = 8.33 mins
