When using a lever, what needs to happen in order to increase the size of the output force and to raise the mechanical advantage of the lever?

    They are,

    1. Moving the load closer to the fulcrum will increase the mechanical advantage.

    2. Moving the effort farther from the fulcrum will increase the mechanical advantage. This may require a longer lever.
