Does the materialist position imply a determinist position on the possibility of free will? explain.

    Materialism claims that reality consist of physical objects and their components.

    Determinism is the philosophical position that for every event there exist conditions that could cause no other event.

    It is is the believe that all actions and events are determined and will happen necessarily. But, If things are physical that does not mean they are determined.
