    Two types of charges are existent in nature, positive charge and negative charge.

    Explanation:

    Both the charges are opposite to each other and their magnitude depends upon the number of subatomic particles making them up, i. e the electron and protons.

    A body is said to be positively charged if it has a higher number of protons as compared to the number of electrons and the exact opposite of the statement is true for negatively charged bodies. The flow of electricity also depends on the composition and flow of electric charges in a particular direction.
