    The normal force that the incline exerts on the block will be equal in magnitude to the sum of the following: 1. the component of weight directed into the incline 2. the component of the force pressing the block against the incline normal force = mg cos (43) + F sin (43) normal force = (17 kg) (9.80 m/s^2) cos (43) + 175 N sin (43) normal force = 241 N The magnitude of the normal force that the incline exerts on the block is 241 N
