    a = 16.4 m/s²

    Explanation:

    given,

    initial speed of the aircraft, u = 295 Km/h

    1 km/h = 0.278 m/s

    u = 295 x 0.278 = 82.01 m/s

    final speed, v = 0 m/s

    distance, d = 205 m

    using equation of motion

    v² = u² + 2 a s

    0² = 82.01² - 2 x a x 205

    410 a = 82.01²

    a = 16.4 m/s²

    the deceleration of the aircraft is equal to 16.4 m/s²
