April swims 50 m north and then turns and swims 20m back to south. What is her velocity if it takes her 60 seconds?

    You would use the formula v (velocity) = x (distance) / t (time) so you would add the total amount of distance and plug that into x and plug in how long it took her, which is 60 seconds, into t. after plugging everything that was given (v = 70m/60sec) you would divide that and should get v=1.16m/s
