A car has a mass of 12,000 kg. What is it's acceleration when the engine exerts a force of 600 N? (Formula: F=ma)

    M = 12000kg

    F = 600N

    F = ma

    substitute for them and you'll get

    600 = 12000a

    1/20 = a

    a = 0.05.

    Therefore, the acceleration is equal to 0.05m/s^2.
