    Answer: 10m/s^2

    Explanation:

    Force acting on couch = 200N

    Mass of couch = 20 kg

    Acceleration of the couch = ?

    Recall that force is the product of the mass of an object by the acceleration by which it moves.

    i. e Force = Mass x Acceleration

    200N = 20kg x Acceleration

    Acceleration = 200N/20kg

    Acceleration = 10m/s^2

    Thus, the acceleration of the couch is 10m/s^2
