Speed can be represented using both metric and imperial units. You may see it as miles per hour (mph), kilometers per hour (kph), meters per second (m/s), etc. Wavelength is almost always given in metric units: nanometers, meters, millimeters, etc. Frequency is generally expressed in Hertz (Hz) which means "per second".
