What are the similarities and differences between heat and temperature

    Heat=energy transferred from one thing to another because of temperature difference.

    Temperature=measure of hot/coldness expressed using scales like celsius and fahrenheit.

    Units:

    Heat=Joules

    Temperature=Kelvin, Celsius or Fahrenheit

    Heat=number of atoms in a substance times by the amount of energy each atom has.

    Temperature=related to the speed the atoms in a substance are moving.

    Heat can do work, such 'giving' reactions energy. Temperature can only measure the degree of heat.
