What is the acceleration of a ball that is vertically tossed up when it reaches its maximum height?

    Zero. it will decelerate as it goes up then when it reach max height it will begin accelerate downward because of gravity untill it hits the ground

    From the moment the ball leaves your hand until the moment it hits the ground, its acceleration is constant. It's 9.8 meters per second downward. That's the acceleration of gravity.
