What energy conversion happens when green plants use energy from the sun to make sugar?

    I'm pretty sure you're talking about photosynthesis. This process is when plants take in the carbon dioxide and transform it into oxygen for the environment. However, plants also use this carbon dioxide to create their own glucose (sugar) as well
