The law of conservation of momentum is not violated.

The reason why seeminly you might think that the law of conservation of momentum is because you are not takining into account the external force.

The friction between your shoes and the floor is an external force that "sticks" you to the floor in what at first glace might make you think that the law of conservation of momentum is violated.

So, the asnwer is that you do not bakcward after throwing the ball due to the friction force, and the law of conservation of momentum is not violated.

First is that, your weight is heavier than the force you exert. The weight or normal force is greater than your force applied.

It is false that the law of conservation is violated. This is because the force you applied is consumed and conserved throughout the process.

Frictional force - shoes and floor
