A student measured the density of gold to be 18.5g/cm3. the accepted value of the density of gold is 19.3g/cm3. what is the percent error of the students measurement

    Absolute value of (18.3-19.3) = 1.

    and then divide (1/19.3) and multiply by 100 to get

    5.18%
