If 10,000 J of work was done to raise a 225 kg box, how high was the box raised?

    Explanation: Work=force*distance

    W=F*S where W=10,000J, F=m*g=225 kg*10 N/kg = 2250 N

    ⇒S=W/F

    = 10000/2250

    = 4.44 m
