In a scientific experiment, control, independent variable and independent variable have to be present in order to allow for proper manipulation of the experimental parameters. Control are used in experiments to compare other variables. The independent variable is used to modify the dependent variable. The dependent variable is the variable that is been tested, it is used to verify the stated hypothesis of the experiment.
