    The initial velocity of feather=0

    By equation

    v^2 = u^2+2as

    v^2=0 + 2 (1.67) (1.4)

    v^2=4.67

    v=√4.67

    v=2.16m/s

    Now we have final velocity when feather touches the surface of moon.

    Using the equation

    v=u + at

    2.16 = 0+1.67t

    t=2.16/1.67

    t=1.3sec
