The engine of a 2250 kg car propels the vehicle with 5625 N of force. Find the acceleration of the car.

    Force = 5625 N

    Acceleration of the car = ?

    Recall that Force is the product of mass of an object and acceleration by which it moves.

    i. e Force = Mass x acceleration

    5625 N = 2250 kg x acceleration

    Acceleration = (5625 N / 2250 kg)

    Acceleration = 2.5m/s^2

    Thus, the acceleration of the car is 2.5 metres per second square.
