    If Ivan wants to push a heavy dresser across a carpeted floor, he should consider removing the drawers from the dresser (they are full and offer a lot of extra weight that could easily be reduced if they are simply removed and would in turn make it easier to move) and he should place smooth tiles under the dresser (this offers less resistance between the floor and the dresser making it move much easier, almost as if it were gliding across ice.)
