    Explained

    Explanation:

The reason that moon has large number of crater is that moon does not have any atmosphere. Due to lack of atmosphere large rocks, meteors, asteroids, impact the moon surface and create craters. On Earth unlike moon there is atmosphere, which protect it from foreign bodies. Moreover, earth has the phenomenon of weathering and erosion, that changes its land form continuously whereas moon's surface has been the same since ages.
