When your pushing your bringing more force to your body and your putting more pressure onto your arms or legs. When your pulling, it's likely the opposite, you have a easy level of pulling something to you and you don't tense up a body object.
For Example: A watermelon, to push a watermelon away, it takes a lot of force and pressure to push it away.
When you pull a watermelon to you, it takes a shorter amount of time and it saves you tenseness to parts of your body. It's about 75% easier to bring it back to you than anywhere else farther away.
Another Example: Push - Ups: It's harder to push upwards than to pull downwards.
When you Push - Up, you are putting more pressure around your body and it starts to hurt Some people.
When you Pull and go down, you are kind of letting go of the pressure around your body and relaxing.
Best of Luck to you!
