    From this particular list of choices, only A. increasing the mass of the object can increase the gravitational attraction between the object and the Earth.

    Choices B and C have exactly the opposite effect, and choice-D has no effect at all.

    This is all just a complicated, technical way of saying that if you eat a big steak plus a few shakes, your mass increases, and you WILL gain weight.
