    Physical change

    Explanation:

In physical change, identity of the matter is never changed so no new matter is produced. In this, there is no change in physical and chemical properties of the substance. In this, only shape, size or state of the matter changes. For example, boiling water, mixing together substances like salt and water. The physical change does not change the nature of the substance. The nature changes only if a chemical change also takes place along with the physical change.

Chemical change results in changing of a substance into a entirely new form. Chemical changes are mostly irreversible.
