The red light emitted by a he-ne laser has a wavelength of 633 nm in air and travels at 3.00 108 m/s. find the frequency of the laser light. answer in units of hz.

    In order to compute the frequency, we will use the relationship between velocity, frequency and wavelength:

    v = fλ

    f = v / λ

    f = (3 x 10⁸) / (633 x 10⁻⁹)

    f = 4.74 x 10¹⁴ Hz
