your washer had a power of 400 watts, and your dryer has a power of 2200 watts. How much energy do u use to clean a load of clothes in 45 min. of washing and an hour of drying.

    Washer = 300 [w-hr]

    Dryer = 2200 [w-hr]

    Explanation:

    We have to calculate the power of each equipment during the respective time of use of each, in this way we will have:

    Washer

    400[w] * 45[min] * 1[hr/60min] = 300 [w-hr]

    Dryer

    2200[w] * 1 [hr] = 2200 [w-hr]

    Note: We can see that the dryer machine is consuming more than 7 times the power of the washer machine in one hour.
