Imagine you pour some hot soup into a bowl. You place your hands on the outside of the bowl and feel that the bowl is very warm. How did the heat get from the soup through the bowl and into your hands?

    If the inside is warm, it would make the outside warm too because of how warm it is. If it's cold, the bowl will get cold

    The heat made its way from the hot soup inside to your hands outside by the process of conduction. It was the bowl itself that conducted the heat from the inside to the outside.
