A weather balloon slowly expands as energy is transferred as heat from the outside If the average net pressure is air. 1.5 x 103 Pa and the balloon's volume increases by 5.4 x 10 5 m how much work is done by the expanding gas? What thermodynamic process does this situation resemble?

There is only one pressure this situation would be a "constant pressure" process. The work done by expanding gas is.

    =p (delta V) = (1.5e3) (5. e3) (5.4e-5) N/m^2xm^3) N/m2xm^3 = 8.1e-2 N-m ANS
