Why should your average experimental value actually only be express with a maximum of 2 significant digits?

    Maximum two significant digits represents the number at the position 0.01. The experimental values are taken as only two significant digits is because after two digits the value can be neglected as these values are very small as compared to the whole number.

    Thus, all the experimental values are represented by two significant digits.
