    The answer is 2.47 meters.

    Explanation:

    V = 3.8 m/s

    Δt = 1.3s

    vf = 0

    it is asked to find S and a,

    a = vf - vi : t

    a = 0 - 3.8 : 1.3

    a = 2.92 m/s²

    S = vf + vi : 2 x t

    = (3.8 : 2) x 1.3

    = 2.47 meters.
