What is the linear velocity in miles per hour of the tip of a lawnmower blade spinning at 2600 revolutions per minute in a lawnmower that cuts a path that is 24 inches wide?

    Answer: In 1 revolution the blade tip travels (22 x pi) = 69.124", divide that by 12 then multiply by 2300 = 13,248.77 ft/min. (5280/60) 88ft/min. per 1 mile. (13,248.77/88) = 150.55mph.
