    In order to obtain the answer in joules, we must first convert the pressure to pascals and the volume to meters cubed. Therefore,

    9 atm = 911,925 Pa

    0.15 liters = 0.00015 m³

    0.53 liters = 0.00053 m³

    Now, we may use the equation:

    W = PΔV

    W = 911,925 x (0.00053 - 0.00015)

    W = 346.5 Joules
