How are both radio waves and microwaves used for methods of communication?

Radio waves and microwaves are types of electromagnetic radiation with the longest wavelengths, lowest frequency and carry the least amounts of energy. This causes it to interact with mostly nothing as it travels, therefore it is just easier to transmit information as there isn't any major disturbance in the transmittion. If it was any other type of radiation, the signal would be unclear and in most cases impossible to process.
