Water boils at a temperature below 100 degrees celcius at higher altitudes. true or false?

    This is true, because of the fact that at higher elevations, there is not as much atmospheric pressure of the gas and other molecules upon in the air essentially preventing the boiling of water and progression into the gas phase, I believe.
