Longitudinal waves are the types of wave in which the medium particles moves in the direction of the propagation of wave. It moves in the form of compression and rarefaction. It possess some frequency, wavelength, amplitude and speed.
So, we can say that the a longitudinal wave possess all the parameter that defines a wave.
