During a thunderstorm, you see a flash of lightning. five seconds later, you hear the thunder. how far away is the storm?

    Since it travels 220,000,000 miles per hour then it is 220000000 divide 120 minutes makes one hour = 1833,333.333 miles per minute and so divide by 60 seconds which makes one minute = 30,555.55556 and because it says five seconds it is 152777.7778
