    The problem statement above is simply a conversion problem. We need to convert the temperature given from degrees Fahrenheit to Kelvin. To do this, we need a conversion factor. Conversion factors are relation of the certain units that would allow us to convert from one system to another. It relates the original unit to another unit. It is used by multiplying or dividing the factor to the original value. For this, we convert degrees fahrenheit to degrees celsius by the equation C = (F - 32) (5/9). Then, we add 273.15 to obtain the equivalent temperature in Kelvin

    C = (F - 32) (5/9)

    C = (74 - 32) (5/9)

    C = 23.33 degrees Celsius

    K = 23.33 + 273.15 = 296.48 K
