    -6 m/s^2

    Explanation:

    acceleration = [velocity (final) - velocity (initial) ] / time

    Since the airplane is stopping, velocity (final) has to = 0 m/s.

    velocity (initial) = 60 m/s

    t = 10 seconds

    So, a = (0-60) / 10

    a = - 6 m/s^2
