Tech A says a camshaft position sensor must be positioned correctly to accurately signal the position of the camshaft to the powertrain control module in the ignition module. Tech B says a special tool can be used to properly align the camshaft sensor or a lab scope can be used to compare the camshaft position sensor adjustment to the crankshaft position sensor. Who is correct?
