    A vector is a quantity that has both magnitude and direction.

    I don't think it has a unity

    A vector is any quantity that has both a size and a direction.

    Some examples of vector quantities: velocity, acceleration, displacement, electrostatic field, magnetic field, momentum, force

    They all have different units of measurement for their sizes.
