Three blocks are shown: Block A has mass 3 kilograms, length 8 centimeters, height 2 centimeters, and width 1 centimeters.     We assume that the blocks are of the same material. Therefore, the mass and volume of each block is related. To see which relationship is correct let's find the volume of the blocks

    Block A

    V = l * h * w

    Vₐ = 8 * 2 * 1 = 16 cm²

    mₐ = 3 Kg

    B block

    Vᵇ = 1 * 8 * 2 = 16 cm²

    mᵇ = 4 Kg

    Block C

    Vc = 8 * 1 * 2 = 16 cm²

    m c = 4 Kg

    We can appreciate that all the blocks have the same volume

    As we can see the expressions B and C are equivalent, so they are true, since for block A with the same volume indicates a smaller mass
