    Hello again!

The energy levels of an atom can be classified as follows:

    First level-2 electrons

    Second level-8 electrons

    Third level-18 electrons

    Fourth level-32 electrons

If an atom has 3 electrons, 2 of them will be in the 1st energy level making the 3rd one be on the 2nd energy level. Good luck with your homework!

In the second energy level, known as 2s, you will have one electron remaining. In the first energy level, 1s, you have two full electrons and the third one goes to the second energy level.
